Downtowns are the heart and soul of a community. They are the place we celebrate, congregate and come together. A healthy downtown is a sign of a successful community. The 2009 Michigan Downtown Conference will pack in plenty of information on creative steps to take to revitalize your downtown or neighborhood commercial district.

We invite downtown stakeholders of all types to come to downtown Lansing, September 15 and 16, 2009 to learn what they can do to improve their downtown. The 2009 Michigan Downtown Conference features a number of diverse downtown professionals and practitioners sharing their proven best practices.

We realize how valuable your time truly is, so we’ve condensed this year’s conference into an action-packed one and a half days, including two keynote sessions, networking opportunities, an awards ceremony, consecutive sessions and more. Because we’ve packed so much in, we invite multiple people from the same community to attend.

Across the country, communities are tightening their belts, so we’ve negotiated an amazing $65 per night rate at the Radisson Hotel, which is connected to the conference location at the Lansing Center via a walkway over the Grand River. You also won’t need to worry about parking, as attendees can park in a structure also connected to the Radisson and Lansing Center.
