Successful downtowns utilize every mechanism available to them and are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty. They come up with unique ideas to promote and grow their downtown and know that a little bit of old-fashioned competition is a good thing. We invite anyone who is interested in improving their downtown or traditional commercial district to learn more about this year’s theme: The Three C’s to Prosperity: Creativity, Collaboration and Competition at the Michigan Downtown Conference, taking place September 15 & 16 in Lansing.

This conference is great for professionals, volunteers, elected officials and people who want to help make a difference in their downtowns. We’ve tried to make this conference as cost-effective as possible, condensing the sessions into one and a half days with a conference rate of only $160 and a great hotel rate of only $65 per night.
